Privacy Policy

None on our side. Everything you record in Realwater — drinks, goals, streaks, reminders, preferences — is stored locally on your device. It is never uploaded to us, because there is nothing to upload it to: Realwater has no backend servers and no user accounts.

If you delete the app (or clear its data in your device settings), that data is gone. We cannot recover it, and no copy exists elsewhere unless your device’s own backup system (such as Android device backup) includes it.

The app uses two third-party services, which process limited data on their own infrastructure:

Google AdMob (advertising). The free version of Realwater shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), coarse location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, and you can choose non-personalized ads instead. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data in AdMob. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device’s privacy settings.

Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting). If the app crashes, Crashlytics sends us an anonymous crash report so we can fix the problem. A report contains technical information such as the device model, operating system version, app version, and the state of the app at the moment of the crash. It does not contain your hydration data or anything that identifies you personally. See Firebase’s privacy documentation.

Premium upgrades are processed entirely by the app store you purchased from (Google Play or the App Store). We never receive or store your payment details.

Realwater is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because your data lives on your device, you are in control: you can edit or delete anything inside the app, opt out of personalized ads in the consent dialog or your device settings, and remove all app data by uninstalling.

If we ever change how the app handles data — for example by adding a sync feature — we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
